Mine got approved exactly 2 months and a week. The lawyer sent me a copy of I-140 that was sent to USCIS and that covered my Labor certification also.

This bills is to renew Conrad 30 program which is set to expire June 2008. This bill is sponsored by Zoe Lofgren and has been posponed until the undetermined date!
This is a vital provision for J1 physicians for waiver opportunities but I have not found much on this on the internet besides above quote from Oh law firm.

Not a problem, just have somebody to check your mail in case the USCIS sends a fingerprint appointment or something else.

yes there most likely will be an RFE asking for her paystubs...looking at the current trends. You might try her stamping H-4 instead. People have a higher rate of success there. For her H-4 stamping, they just might ask for your paystubs....but thats also not a complete guarantee.

My attorney by mistake has applied for my ead renewal 10 days before the 120 time frame. I was supposed to send my application to USCIS by June 20th but my attorney sent it today and did this by mistake. can the gurus please explain me my options. i would hate to miss the line for being diligent. do they reject my application and if so will they send it back. can i apply a new app before i get this application back or do i have to wait till it comes back (if it comes back). what other negative implications should i be worried about.

Mine got approved in about 2 months time. My labor certificate reached the lawyer who passed it on to my employer.
I did a big mistake of not asking for a copy and again when I received it while filing I140 - did not make a copy again.
Please save a copy for yourself - it helps a lot while switching jobs during AC21.

All,
I had posted some queries previously and thanks to all who took time to respond.
As I had said before , I have an admission to study for my MBA outside US for one year. Here is the latest update:
I was thinking I will get a one year leave abscence from my employer ( advt on the website), but apparently they dont support studies as part of the deal.
So i am out of luck;
Considering my situation what do you gurus recommend.
How can I leave US yet maintain my GC process.
My I-140 is approved
Situation:
Spouse in school Full time Studies on I-485 pending. ( entered on F1 then converted to I485..... so going back to F1 is impossible)..
I want her status to be preserved.
My thought:
Resign from my company when I need to leave. Convince them that I will return. Maintain no ties with the company for one year..basically can be compared to being jobless for one year.
and then get a letter that a future similar job will be available with the same Co. ( that sponsored my GC)...
Is this feasible ./practical?

I don't think that would work. Here are a couple of articles that seem to suggest that you cannot create your company on H-1B (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/01/starting-own-company-on-h-1b-visa/) and also that you cannot volunteer to do a job which would otherwise by a paying job (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/02/unpaid-volunteer-work-on-h-1b-h-4-or-f-1-visas/)

I am going to Chennai for my visa stamping and the consulate website says that I need to present the " complete I-129 petition submitted by your prospective employer including the Labor Condition Application " during the interview. Can any one tell me if the photocopy of those documents will do or do I really need to carry the originals (which I don't have)?

You will not have originals as they are with USCIS :D:D
Just carry copies; they rarely if ever ask for those any way.

I filed my I-485 in month of August 2008. I have FP appointment for me and my son on 31st Dec 2008, and for my wife on Jan 2nd 2009. Can my wife just walk in for finger print on 31st along with me and my son ? or she only need to go on 2nd Jan ?
