Hello,
Can Team-IV go to USCIS as a group to ask them to clear the I140s pending quickly. This way, we can ask CIS to follow the FIFO rule.
If they can clear 100+K I129s in 6 months, Why can't they do the same for I140s??. I think there are about
135K pending I140s in CIS (Source immigration-law.com).
That would equate to 340K I485s pending. Even if I consider 10% as duplicates(No Source, just estimate), we will still get about 300K I1485s in the processing queue. This way, everybody will know which category is backlogged and plan accordingly.
As an Individual, we also will have one of the stage completed and be eligible for longer extension of stay etc.
Any suggestions???

dont worry about it. As long as you can prove that you have been treated/or under treatment, this will not hold your application. This will increase / slightly delay your initial application , but otherwise u shouldnt have any problems

I am thinking of leaving my current employer & joining the primary vendor for the client, wondering if my employer can hold back last month's salary OR how people have handled such situations.

Why should the employer hold your salary? If you had any agreement for paying back cost of your GC processing for leaving within a certain period, that would not hold any more (since last June such agreements are illegal)

I don't think that would work. Here are a couple of articles that seem to suggest that you cannot create your company on H-1B (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/01/starting-own-company-on-h-1b-visa/) and also that you cannot volunteer to do a job which would otherwise by a paying job (http://www.laborimmigration.com/2008/02/unpaid-volunteer-work-on-h-1b-h-4-or-f-1-visas/)

I'm with Michael on the lizard shot ... maybe it's the disconnected rear foot that makes it look odd.
I REALLY like the water lily shot, Josh. The composition is beautiful, with the other lily pads forming a "circle of circles" counterbalance to the flower. Very, very nice ... in fact, probably my favorite of all your posted photos. (not that I have anything against the others)

yes, your employer can file for a new H1B, but you will have to leave the country and get a visa to work on the H1B. An easier process would be for your new employer to take over the sponsorship of your GC by using AC-21.

I know that PERM labor gets expired if one does not file I-140 within 180 days of labor's approval date.
I am wondering if DOL has any procedure to revive expired approved/unused PERM by filing some sort of request/appeal or by paying some sort of fees etc. or if not ,then one files a new PERM by referring the old unused approved labor for the same job and same person then DOL can give an expedited approval.
