That is very nice, but as mdipi said, that center text is way out of place.
It is just.... there.... the font, size and everything just doesn't fit.
If you make that text grungier and change the font it should look better.

Dont take my words or advise for granted if one year you had less than your prevailing wage on W2 it may be ok as you have 2 more years of W2 with equal or more than prevailing wage.
Honestly I cannot say for sure your extension will be denied. But it helps for you to pay a couple of hundred dollars and talk over the phone to experienced attorneys like Sheela Murthy and get advise on your situation and options and whether there are chances of denial. I would assume you are OK but again I am no LAWYER :) I really wish you luck in your extension

Chandu ..your posts are always sensible and you describe the problems correctly ..I had a quick question though ..how do you help yourself / ourself (apart from donations to IV, volunteering etc) ?
do we meet congress man ,, if yes, then everyone should do it simultaneously .. but again they will talk about jobs for americans !!
and hence I say ..we need to meet realtors in large numbers ..show interest and make them salivate for your business and then back out of the deal !!!

sp99, who is your internet service provider? For about 8 channels, you are paying ~$50. Do they also have any regular US local channels included in this package? The reason I am asking this question is that they charge about $50 for a few indian channels + other regular HD channels, if you get the dish from them. I understand that the iptv is for folks like me that can not install dish in the building. I am just trying to compare the price. Also, could you tell us if you had to sign a contract too?

My case was rejected with incorrect fee as reason. But my lawyer claims that the rejection packet did not have the original checks. So, they don't know whose fault it is. Any one with similar issue ?

So my PD is 9/24/02. Yeah, i also read 180 days after filling I485 b4 i can leave my current company under AC21.
I guess the best option for me is to
** wait till my get my I140 approves,
** get my H1B extended for another 3 years (instead of 1 stupid year),
** Wait for at least 180 days
then move to another company (if i still get another job offer by then) Correct?? So by then, the new company should be able to transfer my H1B and finish up my GC process? But..but can my old company do anything to jeapodize my GC filling? eg: revoke my LC or I140???
More suggestions and opinions??? :o

It should be noted that there is no requirement in statute or regulations that a beneficiary of a Form I-140 actually be in the underlying employment until permanent residence is authorized. Therefore, it is possible for an alien to qualify for the provisions of �106(c) of AC21 even if he or she has never been employed by the prior petitioning employer or the subsequent employer under section 204(j) of the Act.

I think EB2 is easy if you have US Masters. Since you have a 3 year degree you need to prove that it is equivalent to US BS degree

Can someone help me with the situation i'm in.
I had H1B Visa validityfrom X company from 06/2004 - 12/2007.Applied for extension in June 2007. I had
query on it and i got status update in Feb 2008,stating request for evidence(RFE) documents.
X company send the documents but got denial on May 2 , 2008. I had 2 options at this point of time
first one was make an appeal with right documents. second one was to leave the country in 30
days which i has NOT choosen obviously.
In the mean time, i have applied for H1-B Transfer with new company with premium processing. Also made appeal with old company (X) , I'm waiting for the decision of appeal. but now, i got
APPROVAL on my H1-B Transfer with new company.
I-94 that i have on my passport is with Old company(X) .
Question is:
I need to revalidate my visa that was expired in December 2007. I received my H1B extention last week
when i met Immigration officer close to where i live. she said u r good to travel with new I#94 number (which is same as old one). but without visa how would it be possible.
Do i really need stamping to go out of US to visit my native country?
Pls advise. Any answers would be appreciated
+ you need a new visa stamp to re-enter the country. New approval notice alone is not enough.

When you applied that H1, what did you specify as your old employer? company X or the company whose H1 was denied and is now under appeal? Did you have to change your address while you switched jo?. And if you had changed address, did you inform USCIS. I am trying to find out if address chnge is what triggers RFE for job switch. Also were you on H1B or using EAD with previous employer.
I changed jobs early this year with a 20% pay cut and with different titles and with different client type (private vs public). Got GC last month. No RFEs. I did not inform USCIS.
Before switching jobs, I checked with my attorney and made sure that I am covered, made sure that my previous employer will not revoke my approved I-140 and made sure that my current employer will cooperate with the process. Last month my GC got approved.
Good luck.

To err is human. Just tell them the mistake done and it will be corrected manually. I made a mistake too. I took two copies of the form with me - one hand corrected and the other without the correction. Show them both if needed.

Since this is not the first H-1 you have the option to stamp the visa in Canada / Mexico. However, these consulates cannot evaluate the educational credentials unless they are from that country or USA. Please carry educational evaluations with you. Moreover your valid AP will be a handy backup.
