Yes June may be June 07 and so you may see dates moving to June 03..lets see next month..

At least I know 3 or 4 universities in around MI and OH. They have only online classes and on Sunday. It allows most of the students to take their classes that way. The rest 6 days they can work any where and make money and pay the university. One of the universities has 90% of the students from one of the small countries adjacent to India.

Hi Friends, I went to DMV PA (Bridgevile) to renew my drivers license recently. They are not accepting original EAD/ AP, copy of 485 receipt plus employer letter. They are asking for original 485 receipt. Unfortunately my ex-employer did not give the original receipt.
Did any body renew the PA DL without original 485 receipt?
Did you ask them to show you the rule book where it says you need I-485 receipt?. If not, please do.

Any word this ?
As i posted earlier i've scheduled a teleconference today morning with my HR Head and wanted complete explanation why they aren't releasing 7001. The general HR staff didn't release 7001 for last 8 days.
The HR Head is more diplomatic guy - he said i'll sign and give you 7001 immediately but if any problem happens because of challenging USCIS via Ombudsman , he doesn't know. Basically he is resorting to "Scare Tactics" or the "Fear Mongering" that we saw in the Billary's 3 AM ad of political campaign.
How what do i do Lonedesi - Shall i go ahead and ask him for 7001 and tell him that i don't care because this is a absolutely legal and right step to question USCIS if they are not following FIFO ??

Not eligible at the current time? If your circumstances change and you become eligible after you file your 2007 federal tax return, you can always file an amended return using Form 1040X. If you're not eligible this year but you become eligible next year, you can claim the economic stimulus payment next year on your 2008 tax return.
Guys as it states both you and your spouse need to have an SSN not ITIN.
So if one has ssn other has ITIN you are not qualified.

Their objective is to provide service to the customers, we are their customers, we are giving them exorbitent amount of money as fees. I don't know of any other Organization/Company who provides as crappy service as they do, what would you call their management then ???

I emailed them not as me but as my employer( point of contact mentioned in the labor petition) and it works they send me a copy of the labor approval to my house along with a copy to my employer and one to my attroney. It really works.
Could you please give more details of your case.

Cases are being pre-adjucated, So there are RFEs and other inquiries...After this, they will wait for visa number in PD Queue....which is a good thing...This assures there will be no wastage this year....
Anycase, it looks like there will be significant forward movement...

Perhaps not. With many I140 getting approved, there are always chances of dates going back instead of moving forward.
I can think of average movement of one or two months moving forward per quarter. The two bills in pipeline can ease this situation:
1. Removing country quota
2. Recapturing of unallocated GC Visas

gimmeliberty, srinivas_o, x1050us, PKV4voice thank you so much. I was out for about a couple of hours and when I came back I saw all these contributions lined up. I cannot express the feeling I got. I was totally overwhelmed. After yesterday’s round, which took about 24 hours to close (estimation, I didn’t check), I was worried if we will be able to finish this round. Many H1s like me have their non-working spouses on H4 visa who are not given SSNs. Do we not pay taxes ? Do we not pay Social security ? We do, and therefore we should also be eligible for the Stimulus package. Indeed my son is autistic and disabled but we are not eligible for any kind of aid but we pay tons of taxes and social security. It is highly non-justified think. I know people will argue a lot if it is compared to slavery. But it is a "modern form of slavery". Yes, we are in this country with our own will but that is what they are making use of.
Please blame the illegals who use ITIN 1)to file taxes 2) to show that they were present in US.
They use this as a legal document and their best bet if amnesty is provided.

They most of the approvals are of US Master degree and above as it is straight fwd EB2 no need to verify skill set etc..
While I can't speak for all cases out there, I can speak for myself and a few of my friends...Master's degree from US universities - CHECK, green card - NOT YET! (the wait continues).

Yes. Nalanda Univerisyt is one of the oldest. If you consider the 80% of education system we follow, they are all gifted by brts.

Irony,,, Nalanda University is being revamped (I think structure wise) by Japan government.
If you want to credit GE with the invention of light bulb it is ok if you think so because the the bulbs and light fixtures are made by GE ;)
BTW if a thief robs your house and leaves behind his knife you can call it a gift. The owner of the house has a right to think so. :)
